RP refers to the initial resting membrane potential. The value reported refers to that taken during the hyperpolarized period (down-state) between ongoing spontaneous depolarizations (up-states). The Rin was calculated by injecting −100pA into the soma and determining the voltage drop 300 ms after current-injection onset.
